How do I reserve a library carrel?

The Library has 204 library carrels (individual study desks) located on the upper floors.  Students may reserve a carrel for the year, with priority given to day students in need of a designated study space. 

New Day Students: You will have a library carrel preassigned to you at the start of the fall term.  Stop by the Library during the first week of school to find out your carrel number.

Returning Day Students: Carrel sign ups for returning day students take place in person during the first week of school. 

Boarding Students: Upper and senior boarding students will have the opportunity to add their name to a carrel wait list.  We'll begin drawing from this list during the second week of school.

At the start of winter term, the Library will provide another opportunity for interested students to reserve an available carrel.
